• Payroll Specalist Bilingual

    Robert Half Accountemps (City Of Industry, CA)


    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly basis

    + Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, garnishments, and benefit deductions

    + Maintain payroll records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

    + Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including earnings summaries and payroll journals

    + Handle employee payroll inquiries with professionalism in both English and Spanish

    + Assist with year-end tax filings such as W-2s and 1099s

    + Coordinate with HR and Finance to update employee status changes (hires, terminations, raises)

    + Support audits by providing necessary payroll data and reports

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    + 2+ years of payroll experience

    + Bilingual in English and Mandarin (required)

    + Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paylocity)

    + High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
