Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Santa Ana, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting who can ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulations. You will play a key role in managing financial processes and providing critical insights to support organizational decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure precision and adherence to accounting standards.

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Develop and analyze budgets and forecasts, offering recommendations based on variance evaluations.

• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with external auditors by supplying necessary documentation and detailed explanations.

• Handle tax filings and ensure alignment with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions.

• Partner with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.

• Assist accounts payable and accounts receivable teams as needed.

• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Demonstrated expertise in general ledger maintenance and journal entries.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Knowledge of balance sheet account reconciliation procedures.

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate financial insights effectively.
