Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Biller to join our team in Everett, WA. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in reviewing and processing payments while ensuring compliance with insurance policies and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in the health insurance industry and provide exceptional support to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve and review medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.

• Submit claims to insurance companies, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.

• Monitor claim statuses and follow up on any delays or issues to ensure timely resolution.

• Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to clarify and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all claim activities.

• Utilize software tools, such as Epic, to manage claim information efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to share insights and improve processes.

• Provide support for offshore and shared services teams as needed.

• Stay updated on policies, regulations, and best practices in health insurance claims.

• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

Requirements • Experience in claim administration or a related field, preferably within the health insurance industry.

• Familiarity with medical records and an understanding of insurance claim processes.

• Proficiency in using software tools; experience with Epic is a plus but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with healthcare providers and insurance companies.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Willingness to participate in training and adapt to new tools or processes.

• Knowledge of TRICARE, NIS, or similar insurance systems is advantageous.
