Boeing Defense, Space & Security** (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for **Cost Recovery Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior)** (Level 3 or 4) to join the **Contracts Enforcement** team in **Hazelwood, MO, Berkeley, MO, El Segundo, CA, Long Beach, CA, Seal Beach, CA, Seattle, WA, Tukwila, WA, Everett, WA, Huntsville, AL, Oklahoma City, OK, Ridley Park, PA, or Mesa, AZ
The selected candidate will be a key member of the Contracts Enforcement team supporting Supply Chain in supplier cost recovery efforts related to supplier non-performance, including late delivery, or delivery of defective or nonconforming goods or services. The selected candidate will lead the development of cost recovery claims through contract review, data collection, analysis, development of claim packages, and support the Supply Chain team with negotiations as required.
A qualified candidate will be able to engage and provide guidance to a cross-functional team to help develop cost recovery claim packages that quantify the impact of non-performance. The Analyst will utilize available data from contract documents, supplier communications, estimates, the manufacturing process, financial systems, and cost-models to develop a comprehensive summary of impacts that are packaged in a clear and concise manner to support accelerated settlement and recovery.
The Analyst will also be expected to record and communicate cost recovery status through internal tools, metrics, and Supply Chain and leadership meetings.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a Boeing Designated Expert on Supplier Cost Recovery Claims
+ Work with internal stakeholders (Supply chain, Law Department, Estimating, Finance, Program and others) to determine impacts caused by supplier non-performance and develop supplier cost recovery claims
+ Review supplier contracts and terms and conditions to determine Boeing’s rights and remedies regarding potential cost recovery claims
+ Investigate, review, and analyze data to calculate material and non-material costs to form the basis of recovery claims
+ Review cost recovery estimates for accuracy using approved cost recovery rates, factors, and models
+ Develop a claim analysis and summary, outlining key points of a potential claim, including Boeing’s rights and remedies, key events, and potential issues for legal, program, and supply chain review
+ Partner with supply chain to ensure cost recovery claim summaries are easy to understand, explain, and pursue
+ Participate in leadership and supplier reviews, as required
+ Represent the company in external negotiations with suppliers related to cost recovery claims, as needed
+ Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ 3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
+ 3+ years of experience researching and analyzing data
+ Experience managing multiple high-volume, complex, concurrent projects
+ Intermediate Excel & PowerPoint capabilities
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher
+ Juris Doctorate or Certified Public Accountant (or equivalents)
+ 3+ years working in estimating, engineering, supply chain, and/or cost recovery
+ Experience with material estimates, cost analysis, basis of estimates

Level 4: $93,500 - $115,500

Level 3: $71,400 – $88,200
Level 4: $86,700 - $107,100
El Segundo, CA, Long Beach, CA, Seal Beach, CA, Everett, WA, Seattle, WA, Tukwila, WA, Ridley Park, PA
Level 3: $81,600 - $100,800
Level 4: $100,300 - $123,900
