Training and development will be a part of your role. As a Software Engineer you will:
+ Build and deliver high quality software to enhance customer and associate experiences
+ Support all phases of software engineering including requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment while adhering to agile software development methodology.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that align with the business needs
+ Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
+ Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.
+ Lead the design, development, and implementation of microservices.
+ Continuously optimize application performance and scalability through code improvements, cloud service optimizations, and infrastructure as code practices.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and tools, and proactively suggest new approaches to improve the software development process.
Required Qualifications
+ 3+ years of full stack development experience
+ 3+ years of strong Programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL and Java/J2EE applications using various Open source and proprietary frameworks – Springboot, hibernate etc
+ 3+ years of experience developing microservices and cloud native applications
+ 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes with a focus on deploying and managing applications.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
+ 1+ year of Experience in functional automation tools
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in microservice architecture, RESTful and Graphql
+ Knowledge of AI technologies
+ Knowledge in GCP architecture, commands and experience designing & optimizing software and data engineering patterns in the GCP environment
+ Experience with CI/CD: CircleCI, GitHub actions
+ Experience with open-source toolkits/frameworks
+ Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills.
+ Experience working with Agile methodologies.
+ Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
+ Proficient in APIs, microservices, and modern software patterns
+ Previous healthcare experience and domain knowledge
Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$79,310.00 - $158,620.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
