BrightStar Care of Lake County is looking for a LICENSED Home Health Aide for Overnight Shifts in Merrillville. Applicants must be ok with working in a home with cats and providing complete patient care. Applicant must have a current Indiana Home Health Aide License because we are looking to provide the best care possible for our clients.  Pay up to $18 and hour. Responsibilities: * Providing assistance and hygiene care as directed, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities and assisting with measurements, if necessary * Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping * Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing Requirements: * 18 Years Or Older * Home Health Aide License * 1 Year of verifiable Home Health Aide Experience * Ability to work in a home with cats * CPR Certified * Able to obtain a TB skin test or chest x-ray within the last 6 months * Able to obtain a physical within the last 6 months * Valid Driver's License * Active Auto Insurance * Reliable Transportation to transport clients while on the job * Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds * Must pass background checks * Must pass drug screening
