Responsibilities

As an PCT at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will assess patient/family health problems and resources.

Responsibilities:

+ Assists nursing staff in providing patient care

+ Assists other health team members in meeting patient/family education needs. Introduces self and role when interactingwith patients and families. Completes walking rounds and white boards.Manages patient pain level through administration of comfort measures: warm blanket, ice, elevation etc.Completes required documentation in patient's chart.

+ Maintains and organizes unit supplies and equipment

+ Maintains Personal and Professional responsibility

Qualifications

Minimum:

+ Current CNA and/or EMT certification in good standing

+ Certified Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician - Basic, or previous military medic experience, or seeking degree in nursing, or previous healthcare experience

+ High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Current American Heart Association BLS card

+ Knowledgeable in medical terminology

Preferred:

+ Previous experience with a patient care module or personal computer

Pay Range

$18.38 - $25.28 /hour
