    Position: Skilled Fitter/Welder

    **Location:** Airway Heights, Washington

    **Pay:** Up to $30 per hour

    **Schedule:** Monday–Thursday

    Shifts:

    + Day Shift: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    + Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

    + **Job Type:** Contract to Hire

     

    Aerotek is hiring experienced Fitter/Welders to join a high-performing fabrication team. This role involves working from blueprints, performing fitting operations, and executing structural welds using Flux Core wire.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Interpret and follow blueprints for welding and fitting tasks

    + Perform accurate fitting operations

    + Weld using .045 and 1/16 Flux Core wire

    + Execute 5/16 fillet welds with precision

    + Maintain a safe and organized work environment

    Required Skills

    + Proficiency in FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding)

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints

    + Experience in structural steel welding

    + Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Ability to obtain 2G FCAW WABO and AWS certifications

    + Experience in shop fabrication environments

    Work Environment

    + Large indoor fabrication shop with open welding bays

    + Safety-focused and team-oriented atmosphere

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
