    Job Captain – Shape the Future of Educational Design

    • Location: Lake Forest, CA (Hybrid)

    • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    • Salary Range: $66,000 – $75,000 (DOE)

    • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8 AM – 5 PM; Friday, 8 AM – 3 PM

    • Hybrid: In-office full-time for the first 30 days, then 2 WFH days/week

    About the Role

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Job Captain to support the design and documentation of K–12 educational projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong Revit skills and a passion for producing high-quality construction documents in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support Project Managers and Principal Architects on K–12 projects

    + Execute BIM and 2D CAD drawing assignments with precision and clarity

    + Prepare construction drawings and documentation for submittal to DSA and local jurisdictions

    + Research building codes, materials, and design methods

    + Coordinate with internal teams and consultants to ensure project accuracy and compliance

    What You Bring

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in construction documentation (K–12 experience preferred)

    + Proficiency in Revit (used 95% of the time), 2D CAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field preferred

    + Familiarity with SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
