Job Description

This position requires the ability to weld on aluminum, mild steel, and other materials. The successful candidate will be welding items related to air compressors and potentially other job shop parts, depending on their abilities. Blueprint reading is preferred, but training will be provided for the right individual who is eager to learn.

Responsibilities

+ Perform welding tasks on aluminum, mild steel, and other materials.

+ Weld items related to air compressors and other job shop parts as needed.

+ Read and interpret blueprints for fabrication tasks.

+ Ensure high quality and precision in welding operations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, particularly with aluminum.

+ Experience with welding, fabrication, and grinding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with stainless steel welding.

+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerset, Pennsylvania

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
