    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join a growing small manufacturing company located in northern Blair County, seeking dedicated individuals for long-term opportunities. As a General Production Worker, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring precision and efficiency. Your role involves standing for 8 hours a day, using a tape measure to cut materials, and performing basic computer tasks, including opening work orders and executing assigned tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Measure and cut plastic materials accurately using a tape measure.

    + Stand for 8 hours a day to perform production tasks.

    + Utilize basic computer skills to open and manage work orders.

    + Complete basic mathematical calculations to ensure precision in measurements.

    + Inspect materials and products to meet quality standards.

    + Use hand tools effectively for assembly and repair tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reading a tape measure, including measurements in 8ths and 16ths.

    + Basic computer skills to navigate work orders and manage tasks.

    + Ability to perform basic math calculations.

    + Familiarity with hand tools for assembly and repair.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to pass a test on the metric and inch measurement systems.

    + Experience in production and inspection processes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tyrone, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
