Summary About the Position: This is a Supervisory Realty Specialist, GS-1170-13 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division, Tulsa District and located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responsibilities Serve as Chief of the Acquisition and Realty Services Branch. Responsible for the overall planning, directing, coordinating, training, reviewing, and supervising all activities of the Branch. Manage the activities of the branch to ensure successful execution of real estate projects. Plan all real estate acquisition functions to ensure all goals are accomplished. Provide policy and regulatory guidance of real estate activities. Provide source of real estate expertise and industrial knowledge that covers the assigned geographic area. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is required which includes: 1) Monitoring real estate program execution; AND 2) Managing real estate acquisition transactions; AND 3) Reviewing actions performed by real estate specialists and clerical personnel for compliance with local and regulatory guidance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Leadership Oral Communication Real Estate Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Note: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience a/one--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
