Join our team as a Medical Lab Tech (MLT)! A laboratory professional responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. The Medical Lab Tech (MLT) provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. In this role you will consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills.

We have several Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) positions available due to recent expansion at various Holy Cross Hospital locations. We have both part-time and full-time openings with various shifts at the following Utah locations:

* Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley (West Jordan)

* Holy Cross Hospital West Valley (West Valley City)

* Holy Cross Hospital Davis FSED with cross-training opportunities at Holy Cross Hospital Davis (Layton)

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

+ 1 year of related work experience preferred

+ Associates Degree or completion of a U.S. Military 50-week course leading to specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist or equivalent role and ASCP MLT certification or equivalent, OR Bachelors Degree in a Science field with applicable clinical experience.

+ MLT with ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire

Physical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
