As a Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase in Consumer Community Banking - Data Governance, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
+ Supports the Data Management Controls program, specifically Retention and Destruction and Technical Data Quality initiatives to ensure compliance with Control Procedures
+ Supports Data Risk automation controls initiatives
+ Includes Data Technology Record Champion responsibilities, which supports all unstructured data remediation initiatives (e.g. Shared Drive, SharePoint)
+ Collaborates and build strong partnerships with Business stakeholders & Technology teams to support data risk controls efforts
+ Manages issue resolution and risk mitigation as necessary
+ Leads post-implementation review of project lessons learned, evaluate customer satisfaction and develop best practices
+ Helps drive content development for executive audiences and status reporting including but not limited to metrics gathering and executive presentations
+ Utilizes advanced analytical reasoning to identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
+ Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
+ Experience in an audit, regulatory compliance, or in a risk management/control function, preferably in Technology data risk management
+ Proven experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
+ Ability to work comfortably and confidently in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work
+ Self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of functional groups at various levels.
+ Advanced experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and MS Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Solid understanding of Compliance and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) system
+ Strong understanding of the agile methodology
