The role will entail working independently and in partnership with colleagues across the PFS business and supporting functions to develop, implement and adapt the business strategy to respond to market structure, industry, client and regulatory change.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Interact with CCPs to understand their roadmap/strategy and define the budget allocation for discretionary and mandatory CCP spend supporting applicable market structure changes (i.e. new markets & products, Treasury Clearing etc.) Disseminate and communicate CCP intelligence across functional teams in 1 st and 2 nd LOD as required. Work in partnership with execution product to ensure cohesive JPM offering.
+ Analyze CCP-produced market share information, JPM volume information, CFTC balance information and AM commentary to assess regional business/client performance and growth opportunities with Sales.
+ Partner with Sales and account management to capture client feedback on product offering, develop business cases and support conversion of cleared client opportunities (e.g. during client pitch phase). Maintain competitive landscape overview from US regional perspective
+ Attend client meetings for clearing domain specific topic expertise
+ In conjunction with Product Development, Legal and Compliance monitor and assess changes in the US regulatory landscape, including through industry bodies and JPM reg affairs engagement, and determine required business response. Sponsor and steer implementation across functions of the regulatory change within the prescribed timeframes.
+ Provide advocacy input into US regulatory topics via industry bodies (e.g. FIA), JPM Regulatory affairs team, Legal and Compliance.
+ Support the FCM Governance Framework, ensuring the business fulfils its regulatory responsibilities in partnership with supporting functions.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
+ 5+ years of total professional experience with 3+ years directly in product management
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail
+ Partner with stakeholders to identify & shape commercial goals and the products / processes that will support those goals
+ Ability to think strategically in designing end-to-end solutions, re-engineering business and operational processes as required
+ Innovative, curious and client centric mindset, ability to lead in highly collaborative environment and drive to meet objectives
+ The role requires a logical mind, perseverance, the ability to communicate ideas well, and the ability to effectively target messages to different audiences.
+ Empower team members and functional partners to succeed and deliver value added solutions to the business
