The Bar Harbor Villager Motel is looking for a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Property Events & PM Property Attendant to join our team for the 2025 season.

This unique full-time seasonal position blends guest engagement with property upkeep during evening hours. You'll prepare and maintain our popular S'mores fire pit experience several nights a week, while also assisting with light maintenance, guest service support, and general property care. It's the perfect opportunity for someone who loves working outdoors, helping others, and taking pride in the appearance and function of a well-maintained property.

Position Details:

+ Schedule: Full-time, seasonal (spring through fall)

+ Hours: Evening shifts, 5 days/week (including weekends and holidays as needed)

+ Location: Bar Harbor Villager Motel, Bar Harbor, Maine

+ Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

+ Set up, light, and maintain the guest fire pit and s'mores station (3–4 nights/week)

+ Engage with guests and ensure the fire pit area is welcoming, clean, and safe

+ Support the front desk by responding to guest requests, such as delivering linens or supplies

+ Assist with basic maintenance needs, like replacing light bulbs or unclogging drains

+ Maintain outdoor grounds in the evening: sweep walkways, weed and water flowers, and clean the pool deck

+ Vacuum and tidy indoor common areas to ensure a clean and inviting environment

+ Monitor the property and communicate any issues to management as needed

+ Follow all safety and cleanliness standards

Skills & Requirements:

+ Friendly, approachable personality with strong communication skills

+ Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently in the evenings

+ Comfortable with light physical labor, including lifting, bending, and outdoor tasks

+ Great attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized space

+ Willingness to interact with guests and support the front desk team

+ Availability for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays

+ Must live within driving distance of Bar Harbor, Maine

+ Maintenance or hospitality experience a plus, but not required—we'll train the right candidate!

Performance Measurement:

90-day performance review, guest and team feedback, reliability, and overall contribution to property upkeep and guest experience.
