Richmond Pediatrics is affiliated with Seattle Children's and we are promoting this opportunity on their behalf. Selected candidates will be employees of Richmond Pediatrics
Provide direct care and assume primary responsibility for clinical management of patients presenting to the Seattle Children’s Primary Care Group with acute illness and injury. Work independently in a primary care clinic setting, both during regular clinic hours and after primary care clinic closes. Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans. Collaborate, refer, and consult with Seattle Children's Primary Care Group physicians, specialists, and other members of the health care team, when necessary, to deliver effective, efficient, safe, and high-quality care. Contribute to organizational and departmental continuous performance and quality improvement projects. Participate in education and research efforts for patients, families, and the health care team. Ensure the quality of all patient care and service, incorporating patient centered care and quality standards, and integration of these services with Seattle Children's Primary Care Group goals, vision and philosophy.
Clinic Hours:
Monday-Friday: 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday-Sunday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Weekends will be on a rotation)
Open most major holidays
Richmond Pediatrics is open to a range of 0.6 to 0.9 FTE, based on candidate interest and program needs. This position is located in Mountlake Terrace, WA.
Work Experience
Required Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program.
One year work experience in a pediatric or family focused clinical area.
Required Credentials:
Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of
Washington.
Current national certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner.
Active Drug Enforcement Authority registration.
At time of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
Active clinical privileges as an Allied Health Provider, Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional
staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal
probationary periods due to initial appointment.
Compensation range:
$79,092.60 - $174,484.80 per year
