Responsibilities:
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for administration and coordination of one or more subject matter programs within a department. Leads the design, implementation, and evaluation a program(s). Maintains and implements policies of the program and communicate outcomes to stakeholders. Creates and support goals of the program including discussion, gap analysis, and planning/executing. Creates and communicate reports on feedback on the success and/or failure of certain projects and activities. Provides consultative services including training and education as needed. Responsible for the creation and communication of marketing and communication materials. May be responsible for program budgeting. Determines the breakdown and initiation of projects to accomplish the overall program objectives. May be responsible for training, onboarding, or supervising a small staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Leads the development and execution of departmental programs, including setting strategic objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Recommends strategic and tactical approaches to program planning. Identifies opportunities for program expansion and innovation, aligning new initiatives with departmental and institutional priorities. Represents the department at University and external events, promoting programs and building partnerships.
+ Conducts in-depth evaluations of program outcomes, using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. Conducts research and prepares analytical reports and summaries with recommendations for program or policy changes.
+ Oversees the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies to enhance program visibility and participation.
+ Serves as the primary point of contact for high-level stakeholders, including faculty, administration, and external partners.
+ Provides leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration within the team.
+ Maintains up-to-date knowledge on best practices and current research in relevant department program topic. Acts as an expert resource to key committees/task forces created to further institutional and program goals and provides the appropriate liaison to leadership.
+ Manages program budget(s), ensuring effective use of funds and adherence to financial policies.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience required
+ Master's degree preferred
+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
+ Strong leadership and team management skills required
+ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills required
+ Proficiency in program evaluation and data analysis required
+ Advanced budget management and financial planning expertise preferred
