• Junior Content Creator / Maker

    We’re looking for a Junior Creator / Maker with a passion for creating culturally relevant social content to join the team supporting on-trend and community-driven brands. You’ll help bring ideas to life through design, editing, motion, and mixed media—contributing to work that’s as native to the internet as it is to the brand.

     

    This is a perfect opportunity for a creative generalist early in their career who’s fluent in the language of the internet, understands what performs across platforms, and thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience making everything from reactive TikToks and memes to motion posts and social content assets, while developing your craft and creative instincts.

     

    This position is located in Los Angeles. Local candidates only, no relocation provided.

    Responsibilities:

    + Support the creative team in producing social-first content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, and Discord

    + Bring concepts to life using video editing, design tools, motion graphics, illustration, and/or meme creation—depending on your strengths and the assignment

    + Participate in brainstorms, trend tracking, and daily creative discussions to pitch ideas and content formats

    + Actively research the platform creators, trends, internet culture, and emerging visual styles to ensure work feels native and relevant

    + Adapt and remix assets into social formats (Stories, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) with a strong understanding of specs and user behavior

    + Work closely with art directors, copywriters, and producers to execute on brand voice and visual identity

    + Take feedback and iterate quickly with a collaborative, open mindset

    + Stay organized while managing multiple fast-paced projects with shifting timelines

    Requirements

    + 0–2 years of experience in a creative, digital content, or production role (internships, freelance, or personal projects count!)

    + A portfolio or reel that shows strong visual taste, an understanding of internet culture, and hands-on creation across various formats (e.g. static and motion).

    + Proficiency with tools such as: Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, CapCut, Canva, Figma, AI creation tools, and platform-native creation tools

    + Familiarity with TikTok-style editing, meme formats, stream culture, and platform-specific trends

    + Passion for pop culture, meme culture, social trends, creators, music, gaming, and the evolving internet landscape

    + Ability to move quickly from idea to execution while maintaining attention to detail

    + Clear communicator who takes direction well, asks clarifying questions and thrives in team settings

    + Comfortable adapting to new tools, trends, and project demands

    Benefits

     

    At space150, we are committed to pay transparency and equity in accordance with applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $53,000 - $65,000 annually. The salary range for this role is based on numerous factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
