    Summary

    The Endpoint Solutions team within Workspace Technologies is hiring a new team member to help provide innovative solutions for end user devices and software.

     

    The role focuses on strategy, design, and technical leadership and involves a variety of work including automation, technology evaluation & support, and data analysis & reporting.

     

    The primary goal for the Endpoint Solutions team is to improve the user experience and operational efficiency related to the use and management of user devices and software.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    The selected candidate will be involved in both technical and non-technical tasks. Activities will allow for work to be completed individually as well as in a team environment with opportunity for collaboration with other departments within SRP as well as technology vendors.

    Activities include:

    • Design and implement endpoint management solutions

    • Develop and implement endpoint standards and processes

    • Work collaboratively with various departments to effectively implement and support solutions

    • Identify and implement opportunities that improve the user experience or management capabilities

    • Apply SRP and IT processes, practices and techniques to deliver solutions

    • Provide subject matter expertise and represent Workspace Technologies on enterprise projects

    • Support and manage technologies used for the enterprise management and deployment of client software and devices (Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Microsoft Group Policy, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc)

    • Manage and provide tier 3 support for: Devices (virtual machines, laptops, desktops, etc), Software deployments, Operating systems, drivers, Application and desktop virtualization

    • Providing mentorship and training to other tiers of support through: Knowledge articles, Training sessions, Standard Operating Procedures

    Requires in-depth working knowledge of and experience with multiple technical areas across a large- scale enterprise environment in the following areas:

    • Virtual Desktop Management (Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Citrix)

    • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Windows and Virtualization platforms

    • Computer policy configuration and analysis

    • Hardware driver support and management

    • Active Directory and Entra ID experience

    • Enterprise performance and anomaly monitoring

    • Process workflow design and automation

    • Strong scripting experience

    • Networking (Switching, Routing, Firewalls, etc)

    • Endpoint Security (Certificates, Encryption, Anti-Virus/Malware)

    • Microsoft 365 platform (Azure, Entra ID, Office, Teams, Planner, etc.)

     

    What It Takes To Succeed

     

    This role is responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring, for projects. Occasional contacts with vendors of software, equipment and services. Occasional travel to industry organizational functions and SRP facilities. Ability to work effectively using the services of various organizational groups within SRP. Depending on assignment, frequent requirement to work with confidential data such as payroll and employee information.

    The successful candidate will possess the following strengths:

    • Experience monitoring enterprise environments

    Experience

    Level 3 (senior) requires a minimum of 5 years experience.

     

    If no degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

    Education

    A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

     

    Hybrid Workplace

     

    SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
