    Overview

     

    What does a successful Manager look like?

     

    We’re don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to, either. But successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a new perspective and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more.

     

    We look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. You should already be used to representing your team to external clients, since Managers are often the face of our Analytics team. We hope you’re a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story. We’re also hoping you have at least a year’s worth of experience managing junior-level staff members and have at least four years of prior professional experience.

    Responsibilities

    What does an Analytics Manager do day-to-day?

     

    Our Managers work very closely with the Analysts and Senior Analysts to help them stay on track with day-to-day deliverables, but also build great stories. Managers also collaborate closely with their Associate Directors to develop a vision for their accounts, and then complete that vision with their Analysts and Senior Analysts. As such, Managers are mentors, managers, project managers, and leaders with vision, all at the same time.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    + 3+ years of work experience in media or related field

    + 1+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.

    + Bachelor’s degree. Degree in a related field is a plus (i.e. STEM, Economics, Marketing, etc.).

    + Ability to communicate complex ideas to both external and internal clients.

    + Demonstrated strong project management skills

    + Experience with querying relational databases

    + Experience with digital media and analytics tools (Ad Servers, Measurement Vendors, BI Software)

    + Extensive experience with digital media marketing metrics

    + Strong understanding of traditional and digital advertising, strategy and measurement

    + Thought leadership on all aspects of digital advertising, digital media strategy and standard media measurement

    + Advanced Excel skills (ability to work with macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables) and experience working with large data sets.

    + Ability to structure and manipulate large data sets to answer business questions.

    + Understanding of a broad range of online advertising media channels such as Search, Display Banners, Email, Contextual, and Social, as well as subject matter expertise in at least one of these areas

    + Develop strong collaborative relationship with media team members and partners, earning credibility to deliver results as a respected advisor.

    + Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications.

    + Demonstrated abilities in analytical and critical thinking, project management, presenting, and communication

    + Use statistical analyses to determine digital performance relative to benchmarks, testing results, and audience insights

    + World-class customer service skills. Support customers, partners, and internal collaborators by understanding needs, crafting solutions, and delivering promptly.

    Preferred Experience:

    + Experience with third party research partners such as GfK, Nielsen and comScore.

    + Experience with ad verification tools such as IAS, Moat, etc.

    + Experience with using or analyzing data form DMPs and DSPs.

    + Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI.

    + Knowledge of SQL, Python, and other data manipulation languages.

    Compensation Range: $87,210 - $137,195 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
