    Reporting to the VP Manufacturing Excellence the Director of Process Control will design and implement a world-class process control program across our entire manufacturing network—including snacks, staples, and frozen foods. As a member of the Manufacturing Excellence Leadership Team and a part of a newly formed Technical Transformation Team, you'll lead the strategy, structure, and deployment of process control as a foundational element of operational performance, quality, and cost competitiveness.

     

    This is a transformational role responsible for building the standards, systems, team, and culture required to deliver high-quality food at scale, optimizing processes and minimizing losses enterprise-wide. You'll bring deep expertise to build robust process control systems from the ground up and can influence and collaborate at all levels—from the shop floor to the senior leadership team. You'll quickly assess and prioritize actions based on value, risk, and business impact.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Strategy, Structure, and Roadmap

    + Architect and drive a holistic, multi-year process control strategy spanning Conagra's snacks, staples, and frozen foods plants.

    + Establish clear governance, accountability, and standard ways of working across the manufacturing network.

    + Build and execute a value-based roadmap for capability maturity, using data to prioritize high-impact areas and rapid loss elimination.

    2. System and Methodology Design

    + Select and implement process control methodologies (e.g., SPC, capability studies) customized to diverse product categories and manufacturing platforms.

    + Standardize process data sets, metrics, and KPIs to deliver real-time visibility and proactive process management across all facilities.

    + Oversee the creation and digitization of manufacturing instructions, setpoint management, and robust documentation and change control.

    3. Technology and Tools

    + Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of process control platforms, data systems, and analytical tools (e.g., MES, historian, dashboards), ensuring seamless integration across plants and product lines.

    + Partner with IT, OT, Engineering, and Quality to ensure technology solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.

    4. Organization and Talent Development

    + Build and develop a bench of process control experts across the organization.

    + Design and deliver training and capability-building programs for operators, engineers, and leaders, ensuring process control knowledge is embedded at all levels.

    + Coach teams to use process data for root cause analysis, optimization, and sustaining improvements.

    5. Continuous Improvement and Culture

    + Establish routines and standards for monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving process capability and stability.

    + Foster a culture of disciplined process control, continuous improvement, and shared accountability for results.

    + Lead, or support, investigations and rapid response to process deviations, chronic losses, and quality incidents.

    6. Stakeholder Influence and Change Leadership

    + Be the visible champion for process control on the Manufacturing Excellence Leadership Team, building alignment and commitment across Operations, Quality, CI, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

    + Leverage influencing and communication skills to drive adoption of new standards, systems, and behaviors.

    + Adapt quickly to new categories, technologies, and business challenges.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related field

    + 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with experience building, leading, and scaling process control systems across multiple plants or business units

    + Experience deploying Statistical Process Control, Capability Analysis, and Loss Elimination initiatives.

    + Experience with process control systems/software (MES, historian, data analytics) and integrating with digital manufacturing tools.

    + Stakeholder management skills ability to influence without authority and gain buy-in at all levels.

    + Experience assessing and prioritizing opportunities based on business value, loss data, and risk.

    + Experience building and delivering process control training programs.

    + Experience managing direct and cross-functional teams.

    + We ask that you travel 50-60%

    Compensation:

    Pay Range:$133,000-$197,000

     

    _The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
