    You will focus on researching, designing, developing, testing, certifying, deploying, and improving cutting-edge products and services, ranging from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to highly integrated aircraft and orbital space exploration systems. Your primary responsibility will be process and systems with program management, design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to develop the most efficient and cost-effective means of producing high-quality products.

     

    You will apply manufacturing technologies and industry best practices to support the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that your peers have everything they need to succeed

    Responsibilities:

    + **Tool and Process Enablement:** Implement and manage Dassault's 3DExperience Delmia, Apriso, and Ortems platforms to provide your peers with advanced tools and processes for manufacturing engineering.

    + **Collaborative Development:** Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including program management, design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams, to develop and refine efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.

    + **Technology Integration** : Integrate manufacturing technologies and industry best practices into the design and development of new products and processes, ensuring seamless adoption by your peers.

    + **Business Process(es) for Manufacturing Engineer** s: Create, maintain, and improve the business process for Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Computer Aided Planning (CAP) functions in SNC.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Bachelor's of Science degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

    + Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

    + Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools

    + Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices

    + Capability working in multi-disciplinary teams

    + **Dassault's 3DExperience Delmia, Apriso, and Ortems** platform experience

    + **Expert in defining** Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and Computer Aided Planning (CAP) business process(es)​

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Familiarity in applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.

    + Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.

    + Knowledge of industry standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing and production processes.

    + Experience with work instruction/traveler development.

    + Participation in dispositions of Non-Conformance generation through a Material Review Board (MRB)

    + Experience with new product introduction and transition to production.

    + Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.

    + **Lean Manufacturing** : Focuses on minimizing waste without sacrificing productivity. Techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and Just-In-Time (JIT) are often employed.

    + **Six Sigma** : A data-driven approach to eliminate defects and ensure quality. DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) is the core methodology.

    + **Design for Manufacturability (DFM)** : Principles applied in the design phase to ensure that the product is easy to manufacture.

    + **IPC Standards** : Standards from the Association Connecting Electronics Industries (IPC), such as IPC-A-610 for acceptability of electronic assemblies, IPC-J-STD-001 for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies, and IPC-2221 for PCB design.

    Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
