We now have a national presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market.

     

    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join our Self-Perform team. In this role, you'll lead and optimize electrical field teams to ensure timely, efficient project execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You will set expectations, foster a positive team environment, resolve conflicts, and track performance through data analysis. You will also evaluate manpower needs, manage resource allocation, collaborate with project leaders, and ensure all work meets safety and industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead electrical field teams, setting work expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment.

    + Analyze project performance data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.

    + Oversee manpower requirements and resource allocation, collaborating with leadership to meet project timelines and budgets.

    + Monitor vendor purchases and ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.

    + Regularly provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for continuous team development.

    + Report on project progress, milestones, and budgeting, ensuring adherence to goals.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required; courses in construction management or electrical trade school preferred.

    + 10+ years of experience in an executive or operations management role, with a proven track record in overseeing electrical projects valued at $20M or more (commercial/industrial).

    + 15+ years of field or trade work experience in commercial electrical systems, with experience in government, military, or large commercial construction projects highly desirable.

    + Experience in the design-build industry preferred.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Primavera P6, and Navisworks preferred.

    + Familiarity with BIM software for construction reviews a plus.

    + CPR, First Aid, EM-385, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required (training can be provided).

    + Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
