The Executive Assistant - Legal is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to executive leaders, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and optimal efficiency. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
This position will be located in Washington DC, on-site 5-days per week, and will support 3 members of the Corporate Legal function: (1) VP & Deputy General Counsel, (2) VP & Chief IP Counsel, and (3) VP, Government Relations.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to:
+ Coordinate all aspects of the executives' schedules, including a high volume of complex domestic and international travel arrangements, serve as gatekeeper of the executives’ time, schedule, and related matters. Anticipate potential schedule conflicts and proactively resolve with urgency.
+ Maintain discretion, confidentiality, the integrity of data, and protection of matters relating to Danaher facilities and employee footprint while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
+ Manage meetings through the preparation of agendas, briefing materials, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel bowlers to include the collection and distribution of materials, ensuring copious documentation, and proactive follow up and follow through of important actions and decisions from meetings.
+ Assist in the management of external vendor relationships and related services, including reviewing/processing invoices and overseeing simplex and complex projects (tracking action items, milestones, etc.)
+ Coordinate activities to include workshops, kaizen events, internal and external site visits such as travel arrangements, venue/location preparation, activities, catering, etc. Further colla- borate with and provide backup support for other corporate Legal and/or organizational executive assistants.
+ Support budget and expense management through the reconciliation of expense reports, purchase requisitions, and invoices.
The essential requirements of this job include:
+ Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years of successful experience as an Administrative Assistant/Executive Assistant
+ Ability to ma i ntain co m p l e te con fidentiality r e gar d ing sensitive matters
+ Polished and professional communication style, both oral and written
+ Tech savvy and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Proven track record of proactivity and the ability to get things done
+ Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate comfortably and effectively with individuals in a wide range of functions and levels throughout the organization
+ Ability to work effectively with urgency and sound prioritization tasks
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ 5-10% travel may be required per business needs

The hourly range for this role is $45.00 to $53.00 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
