Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The loader position ensures that the production line is adequately supplied with products and inspect and troubleshoot equipment as needed to ensure efficiency and productivity. This position has the responsibility to comply with safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce safety as a core value. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities related to food safety & quality are followed and complied with uniformly to reduce product and process variability. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Team player who aligns and upholds our values: Teamwork, Accountability, Innovation and Continuous Improvement and passion for customer and consumers · Attendance is essential to perform duties · Attend and actively participate in safety meetings and trainings · Always ensure regulatory compliance · Load product into machine by lifting from pallets and placing it on assembly line · Inspect equipment, stop production, and troubleshoot when needed by following safe work practices · Monitor shrink on an ongoing basis to improve yield and recovery · Remove empty dirty flats and stack/ organize onto pallets · Report any problems with machines to supervisor · Assume personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhere to all safety policies/procedures and incorporates safety and health in all job duties/tasks · Adhere to safe work practices, follows GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintains sanitary conditions and ensures that product quality is maintained. Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect employee safety or food safety/quality to management immediately · Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: · Currently enrolled in high school as a Junior or Senior. · Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. · Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: · Workers are required to wear proper PPE such as hair nets, ear plugs, and certain areas require earmuffs · Ability to stand continuous periods and work in changing temperatures · Ability to tolerate constant motion, occasional bending, squatting and frequent walking & reaching above shoulders · Ability to lift up to 34 lbs. · Ability to ascend and descend stair The pay range for this position is $17.80 to $21.00 per hour.
