In September of 2017, Bob Evans Farms was acquired by Post Holdings, Inc. and is part of the Refrigerated Retail division. Other divisions of Post include Post Consumer Brands (Cereal), Weetabix (Cereal – UK), Michael Foods (Foodservice), and 8th Avenue Food & Provisions (Private Label). Post has aggressive growth plans for BEF, highlighted by the recent deployment of capital to support innovation, marketing and manufacturing. Responsibilities This position is responsible for supporting a variety of Quality & Food Safety initiatives. The QFSE Coordinator serves as the Corporate QFSE traceability lead, supporting the Corporate QFSE group, manufacturing facilities and the Distribution group. The QFSE Coordinator/Analyst also supports the corporate and manufacturing teams with program development and compliance projects. Accountabilities: • Lead QFSE partner for all traceability projects. • Develop and maintain traceability procedures and work instructions. • Provide recommendations to cross functional partners to develop and implement final traceability procedures. • Provide executive summaries with recommendations to QFSE partners • Lead small groups of cross functions partners for troubleshooting and resolution. • Lead and participate in system testing and ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements prior to user acceptance testing · • Lead all traceability investigations and report on findings with recommendations for future process improvements. • Serve as the Food Safety & Quality liaison with Corporate Distribution and 3PL partners • Collaborate with Quality Managers and the Corporate Quality Team with food safety and quality related projects. • Support Quality and Food Safety Initiatives in support of Corporate Programs and GFSI certification • Support food safety and quality related special projects and customer requests. • All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree required in Food Science, Food Microbiology, Agriculture, Chemistry, or related field/ equivalent combination of education/ experience is preferred. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience with food traceability requirements and execution, including finished product forward and backward traces, as well as ingredient and food packaging traces. • Knowledge and experience with Oracle ERP systems preferred. • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Management systems. • Experience in a manufacturing facility including production and quality. • Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience preferred
