Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

Responsibilities:

+ Support Quality Inspectors in the clean room to clarify specification and inspection methods and resolve issues.

+ Preparing basic data for presentation.

+ Support Non-conformance and corrective action implementation activities.

+ Following up on dispositions and quality issues — understanding background data of quality issues.

+ Use Microsoft Excel to generate tables and process data.

+ Generate documentation of quality issues and resolution.

+ Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve production issues.

+ Execute or manage execution of engineering studies.

+ Execute process validation, Test method validation and Equipment/Process qualification.

+ Review Lot History records, Test data, Validation file.

+ Compile and process simple statistical evaluations.

+ Train inspectors or product builders for awareness of ECO or deviations (updates to procedures).

+ Update and review scrap records.

+ Liaise with Vendor to arrange needed services.

What your background should look like:

+ High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience required or College/Technical Degree with 4 years of related experienced preferred.

+ Basic computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office programs.

+ Experience with statistical method development (Gage R&R/MSA).

+ Validation experience (IQ/OQ/PQ).

+ Basic understanding of statistics.

+ Technical writing skills for authoring protocols, reports, manufacturing processes, standard operating processes, etc.

+ Strong problem solving skills.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $58,600 – 87,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
