**Expected base pay** of $42,000 plus commissions, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Conducts sales calls for HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), electrical, plumbing, humidification, air quality products, systems and related products & services. Provides surveys, quotes prices, proposals, and information regarding terms of sale and delivery dates. Develops relationships with new and existing customers. Utilizes selling techniques to maximize sales volume and to address customer's wants, needs and objectives. Maintains profitability and good customer relations by following through with customer concerns and ensuring projects are completed as sold.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
+ Drive profitable in-home sales of residential heating, cooling, and related products by meeting established sales targets, ensuring technical accuracy, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
+ Develop and follow up on leads from internal company segments, vendor referrals, and personal networking. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers to encourage repeat business and generate referrals for other company divisions.
+ Manage the full sales cycle, including product selection, receipt, delivery, and coordination with installation managers to ensure timely and accurate installation. Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and vendors to confirm product availability, pricing, and timelines.
+ Maintain professional selling standards by staying up to date on product knowledge, pricing, and applicable codes. Attend company-sponsored training and independently review product literature and specifications.
+ Accurately prepare and submit job packages using current forms, and obtain non-standard pricing as needed from sales management or installation teams. Maintain timely communication regarding lead status and follow company policies and procedures.
+ Contribute to team development by mentoring new sales representatives, assisting with customer service resolutions, participating in trade shows, and engaging in other company-sponsored activities or training sessions as required.
LOCATION
This is a field sales role prospecting and supporting customers in the Dallas, TX area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 2-years of customer-facing experience or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
+ Self-motivated, driven to achieve success and focused on personal continuous improvement
+ Ability to work flexible, sometimes extended hours, including nights and weekends
+ Must possess a valid state driver's license and have reliable personal transportation
+ Possess the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
+ Proven customer service skills
+ Solid computer background/experience, including Microsoft Office Applications
+ Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks accurately
