    The purpose of this position is to create a building material requirement list for projects and correspond

    with customer service reps with any issues with the processing of the projects by performing the following

    duties. This position also includes functions to create and modify hardware application drawings in order

     

    to fabricate and install hardware; determines feasibility of specified hardware applications to product lines

     

    and communicates any issues with hardware manufacturers and customer service reps.

    Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

    • Creates bill of material (BOM) requirements for material and hardware for order projects.

    • Details order packets by printing/pulling existing drawings.

    • Generates order packet information for production.

    • Provides shop floor support for fabrication or application issues.

    • Corresponds with customer service reps with project issues and provides technical support.

    • Processes change orders on projects for BOM changes.

    • Determines and submits purchased hardware requisitions to purchasing department.

    Education/Experience:

    Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in manufacturing, industrial

     

    engineering, or AutoCAD related field plus 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

    using AutoCAD drawings to determine mathematical calculations; or equivalent combination of education

    and experience. Prefer bachelos degree.
