Senior Director, SIAP Sales
Job Description:
We are searching for a dynamic, strategic sales executive for Sage Intacct Accountants Program (SIAP). As Senior Director, SIAP Sales you will steer the execution of our go‑to‑market strategy for Sage's software solutions in the accounting segment. You will accelerate revenue by building deep partnerships with leading CPA firms and expanding our presence in the U.S. Accounting market. This role demands relentless sales execution and a strong record of sales leadership, market expansion, and revenue growth. It offers a platform to shape the future of outsourced accounting, cultivate executive relationships that propel growth, and drive adoption nationwide while leading an empowered team of passionate sellers who deliver measurable impact for our partners and their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute the go-to-market strategy tailored to the accounting segment, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
• Drive revenue growth in Client Advisory Services with SIAP Partners, focusing on vertical industries or niches.
• Lead and manage and high-performing sales team, providing mentorship, guidance and strategic direction to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Implement industry and firm cross sell strategies to grow partners; identify upsell opportunities
• Execute joint business plans and quarterly business reviews with partners
• Proactively address issues or challenges to maintain high levels of partner satisfaction and retention
• Manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple Sage products and decision makers
• Accelerate opportunity creation by partnering with marketing on integrated demand generation and co op programs
• Build and maintain strong-long-lasting relationships with partners, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify key trends, opportunities and competitive dynamics within the accounting sector.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance our market presence and drive business growth
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, ensuring our solutions meet and exceed their expectations.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track progress and optimize sales efforts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure a cohesive and effective go-to-market approach.
• Collaborate with partners to effectively utilize co-op spend and advise on best practices.
Job Requirements:
• 10+ years proven experience in a senior sales leader or go-to-market role in the software or technology industry
• 5+ years of sales experience in cloud accounting ERP with in-depth knowledge of channel sales
• Proven experience leading Accountant channel-based sales, marketing and business development teams
• Experience leading complex enterprise sales processes with partners
• Strong track record of driving substantial revenue growth and achieving ambitious sales targets
• Deep understanding of the accounting segment and its unique challenges and opportunities
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team
• Executive presence and experience presenting to executives.
• Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, marketing or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
