    The Revenue Cycle Project Manager, Senior is the primary individual responsible for successfully delivering project objectives within Revenue Cycle Operations. Candidate will accomplish these objectives by using proven project management methods to overcome resource, scope, and time constraints while ensuring quality delivery of stated business objectives. This individual will serve as a liaison between the project team and executive stakeholders/ business owners. Potential applicants should have excellent customer service, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Effective written/verbal communication, from both a technical and operational perspective, contributing to the overall team’s mission.

    Project Management:

    + Apply agile project management principles to manage multiple high impact Revenue Cycle projects with varying degrees of complexity.

    + Mentor and train Revenue Cycle Project Manager, Intermediate roles in Revenue Cycle project management methodology and expectations.

    + Employ technical writing methodology to create project portfolio, including, but not limited to, MS Teams site, project charter, scope, business objectives, detailed project plan, key milestones, comprehensive technical specifications, issue tracking, RAID logs, action items, executive communications, change log tracking, project closeout documents, etc.

    + Proactively identify risks/dependencies and develop mutable mitigation strategies to provide tactical recommendations and/or alternatives to business owners/project stakeholders.

    + Direct and monitor cross-functional project team activities, identify resource needs, perform necessary data analysis/quality review, and escalate any functional, quality, and timeline concerns appropriately to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within scope.

    + Facilitate project/workstream meetings and develop dynamic communications plan to ensure project stakeholders remain current on project status, risks, dependencies, scope updates and timeline.

    + Monitor, measure, and report on the productivity and performance of projects and interrelated work streams.

    + Employ tools such as Microsoft Software Suite and Smartsheet to effectively manage projects.

    Continuous Process Improvement:

    + Establish and implement creative project management tools and methods to ensure projects are delivered on time, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet stated business objectives and key performance indicators.

    + Bring continuous improvement tools, methods, training, and coaching to the organization to support our drive toward operational excellence.

    + Ensure risk mitigation strategies include evaluation of alternate solutions and development of contingency plans.

    + Coach and mentor project sponsors, process owners, and project teams in project management concepts

    + Expected to typically manage projects up to a level that qualifies as:

    + **Size:** Large - XXLarge

    + **Change:** Large - XXLarge

    + **Complexity:** Complex – Very Complex

    + **Visibility:** Large - XXLarge

     

    Position Compensation Range: $62,670.40 - $100,276.80 Annual

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    **Education:** Bachelor’s degree required.

    **Experience:** 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in all aspects of the Project Management Life Cycle. 2+ years of data mining/business analysis. 7+ years Relevant Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. EPIC experience preferred.

    **Licensure:** Project Management (PMP, CAPM or approved alternate) certification preferred. EPIC Certification (in relevant application of Director’s choice) must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date. HFMA Certification (in relevant area of Director’s choice) must be obtained within six (6) months of hire date.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
