Job Description
Day to day -
Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.
Support traditional enterprise VTC requirements on in-scope networks.
Support Video Conferencing Services that provide End-Users with video conference capabilities. Services include the planning and assessment, implementation, training, and ongoing management necessary to implement Video Conferencing Service.
Monitors and responds to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems. Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
Monitors and responds to hardware, software, and network problems.
Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance.
Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment.
Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network.

Skills and Requirements
Required -
Education: Bachelors Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Network Engineering, Video Teleconferencing Services, End User Support, Troubleshooting/Problem Solving
Security Clearance Level: Q or TS
Required Skills and Abilities: Written and Oral Communication, Leadership, Strategic Planning, Organization, Problem Solving
