Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a sales manager out of the Atlanta, GA area. Key responsibilities listed below:
- Manage a team of 5 account managers
20% of managerial duties, sales plans, sales reporting, pipeline management, sales metrics, one on ones, monthly meetings, weekly meetings
80% Selling alongside your account managers, joining them at client sites, creating strategy, etc.
- Working cross functionally with AV manufacturing partners, Architecture, Commercial clients, C-Level contacts, cross divisional work, ETC.

Skills and Requirements
Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Candidate does NOT have to come from AV if they have strong leadership experience and sales metrics
AV Sales professionals without leadership are qualified IF they have good job longevity and successful sales track record
Ability to motivate and effectively lead large teams comprised of sales and administrative personnel toward a common goal
10+ years of professional working experience
Knowledge of the commercial sales cycle
Minimum High school diploma or equivalent A four-year degree is preferred
At least 5 - 7 years Sales Management experience preferably in the AV/VTC/UCC or similar industries
CTS certification preferred
Demonstrated track record of selling Video Conferencing, Managed Services, and Network Infrastructure business preferred
Demonstrated experience selling but not limited to network services, unified communications, VoIP, SIP, H.323, Cisco Telepresence, Tandberg, Polycom, Lifesize, Extron, Creston, AMX products, as well as integration, professional and managed services null
