    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a laboratory crop science team. This role involves processing tomatoes and hot peppers, primarily for sauce and paste production. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment, performing various tests to ensure product quality. An example of some of the tests you will be running are, testing viscosity, thickness and sweetness of sauce. Every morning the manager will have an assigned station and you will be able to work in different stations over the 3 months. You will have the opportunity to work with analytical tools as well as specific projects of interest. This is a fairly labor intensive and messy job, with a lot of opportunity for learning and experience.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 1+ years of experience within a food prep environment or STEM education background

    • Strong aptitude to be in a lab environment/interest in being in a lab environment

    • Strong reliability and attendance records (will be available for entirety of contract)

    • Interest in STEM · Bachelors degree

    • Agricultural/Crop Science background null
