Our client, a food manufacturing company, is seeking a Stand Up Reach Operator to join their team. As a Stand Up Reach Operator, you will be part of the shipping/receiving Department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and have experience operating power industrial equipment.

**Job Title:** Stand Up Reach Operator

**Location:** Torrance, CA

**Pay Range:** $22.00 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Operate forklift in a safe manner at all times, and hold a valid Forklift Operator’s certificate.

+ Operate a stand up reach, cherry picker and sit down forklifts

+ Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices or other transport vehicles.

+ Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.

+ Dispatch of truck drivers (back-up), answers phones, filing, inspects order and delivery paperwork for accuracy, assist Logistics Manager with reporting and shipment planning schedule

What's Needed?

+ Must have a valid Class A driver license

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Minimum 2 years Stand Up Reach, Sit-Down and walkie electric pallet jacks (e.g. forklift, etc)

+ Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays

+ Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

+ Computer literacy – Outlook, Word, Excel

+ Must be precise and pay attention to details Physical requirements: some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, twisting, bending and lifting. Ability to lift up to 75lbs
