Job Description

Our Client is looking to bring on a local to Miami Florida Sr Data Center Operator. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level data center environments, with a strong focus on system monitoring, disaster recovery, and server administration.

Utilize Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools and network monitoring software to ensure optimal performance and uptime of data center operations.

Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions, including disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.

Provide comprehensive support for Windows and Linux server operating systems, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

Manage and troubleshoot servers using lights-out management interfaces such as HP iLO and Dell iDRAC for remote, headless operations.

Respond to and resolve daily support requests through ServiceNow, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely issue resolution.

Leverage Nlyte Inventory for asset management and infrastructure planning within the data center environment.

Skills and Requirements

Over 5 years of experience as a Data Center Operator managing daily operations and monitoring of systems and mainframes (Unisys)

Strong experience within Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools and network monitoring software to ensure optimal performance and uptime of data center operations

Strong experience Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery solutions, including disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies

Experience providing support for Windows and Linux server operating systems, ensuring system stability, security, and performance

Experience managing and troubleshooting servers using lights-out management interfaces such as HP iLO and Dell iDRAC for remote, headless operations

Experience resolving daily support requests through ServiceNow, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely issue resolution

Experience leveraging Nlyte Inventory for asset management and infrastructure planning within the data center environment. null
