    Responsibilities

    • Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries.• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.• Participate in call coverage on a rotating schedule.• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with hospital policies.• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing care

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery.• Active and unrestricted Texas medical license
