Job Summary
The senior manager position for the CBRE GWS Insights is responsible for executing real estate business intelligence consulting projects for CBRE’s clients. Projects will be focused on data exploration, analysis, and visualization with a particular focus on generating business insights. A key competent of the role will require cross collaboration and presenting to senior leaders within CBRE and outside of CBRE. Key outcomes will focus on leveraging data of all forms in order to produce insights that help drive business outcomes for CBRE and it’s clients.
The senior manager will be responsible for leading project work and implementing a sound business outcome, and ensuring completion of deliverables in a timely manner. S/he will collaborate with the supervising director and other senior management to ensure overall project progress and stakeholder satisfaction. The senior manager works closely with senior CBRE leadership, analysts, and broader cross functional teams to create our business consulting recommended actions.
Furthermore, the senior manager position will be responsible for executing projects by him/herself. For these projects, the senior manager will perform both technical lead and project manager responsibilities for consulting projects and ad hoc requests. In collaboration with CBRE colleagues and clients, s/he will define business requirements, support collection of data requirements, collaborate with cross functional teams in order develop visualizations and materials, and present results to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate possesses a broad skill set across seven key categories: advanced project management, team management, strong stakeholder-facing communications, experience in data modeling and relational databases, Tableau expertise, and knowledge of the corporate real estate outsourcing industry. Minimum of 6+ years of experience. Advanced degree not required but preferred. This position is remote, but the Business Analytics group has significant US presence in Chicago, New York, Dallas, and Los Angeles, CA. Work from home or another CBRE office is an option.

What you’ll do
+ Perform project manager responsibilities for outcome analytics consulting projects of various forms in support of a variety of corporate and government clients.
+ Act as player coach with regard to deliverables to internal and external clients
+ Create, maintain and optimize creative data visualizations and dashboards (primarily in Tableau) to derive actionable intelligence.
+ Implements and maintains key processes to be followed by the team and other strategic activities.
+ Review project deliverables including Tableau dashboards, formal reports, PowerPoint briefings, etc.
+ Lead stakeholder presentations (both in-person and virtually) of project progress meetings and presentations of results.
+ Problem solve technical issues and stakeholder questions. Escalate issues to senior management and dedicated technical team as needed.
+ Continuous review and improvement of project processes.
+ Provide subject matter expertise on data-related processes and analyses.
+ Assigns tasks, responsibilities, evaluates and mentor staff.
+ Aggregation and analysis of quantitative data; forecast and trending of performance data.
+ Collect key financial and real estate portfolio data from clients for inclusion in consulting outcomes.
+ Prepare formal written reports describing project methodology, scope, key assumptions, and results.
+ Other duties may be assigned.
+ This position will supervise a small team of analysts. Provides formal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Leads project teams and/or plan and supervises assignments of employees. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Minimum six+ years of related experience in corporate real estate. Previous project management, business analytics or related experience preferred. Advanced skills in planning, database management/business intelligence.
+ None required. Tableau certification preferred. PMP (Project Management Professional) designation is a nice-to-have.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
+ Experience with data management and analysis. Skilled in dashboard design and development. Experience with Tableau is required. Proficiency in database technologies such as Microsoft Access or SQL Server is preferred.
+ Requires basic knowledge of financial and statistical terms and principles. Advanced knowledge preferred.
+ Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products, particularly Excel. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
