    This role is based in Los Angeles, putting you at the intersection of Amazon's tech innovation and MGM's century of storytelling excellence.

     

    As a System Development Engineer in SFSC, you will architect, design and build scalable, flexible, and integrated solutions for our Prime Video Studios Sales team in partnership with other technology partners/teams/leaders across the enterprise. You will simplify and reinvent systems, processes, and tools to improve customer experiences. You will technically lead a complex charter of building and delivering cloud services and CRM solutions. You will jointly define strategy, vision, and roadmap of multi-year business critical cloud technology solution which will be rolled out to the Amazon and AWS enterprise.

     

    As a Systems Development Engineer, you will define technical initiatives to drive cost optimization across various CRM, and internal Amazon environments, bring thought leadership to manage availability, latency and performance of our mission critical tools, services

    Key job responsibilities

    Manage Salesforce.com CRM including support for roadmap projects and operational enhancements.

     

    Hands on configuration and development using APEX and Salesforce configuration capabilities such as Flows.

     

    Focus on user efficiencies, solving business/customer issues, invent creative solutions, and ensure data accuracy across the Salesforce system.

     

    Partner with business stakeholders to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements, and system customization's that solve Amazon's Business needs.

     

    Understanding customer, internal sales and account management team needs and translating them into robust business requirements for configuration and development in Salesforce CRM.

     

    Participate in change management process. Drive communication efforts across relevant stakeholders.

     

    A day in the life

     

    This role will own customer impacting changes in our UX built on Salesforce. Our tools impact the entire enterprise and we hold a high bar for our customers. This role participates across the entire team of TPMS, PMT, Security Engineers, and SDEs to deliver engaging experiences in Salesforce.

     

    About the team

     

    The Amazon MGM Studios Business Enablement Technology Organization, a key division within AMS Studios Technology, is responsible for delivering technology solutions that support three of the five durable areas of the Studio Production Lifecycle (SPL), 1) Creative Development (Rights & IP), 2) Sales & Distribution (Sales), and 3) Financial Management and Participation's & Residuals (P&R).

    Basic Qualifications

    - Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure

     

    - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust

     

    - Experience building services using AWS products

     

    - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

     

    - Experience with APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Javascript, Salesforce flows and integration features such as platform events, change-data-capture and RESTful services.

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience with distributed systems at scale

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
