Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with expertise in manufacturing accounting to join our team in Skowhegan, Maine. This role involves a combination of financial analysis and accounting tasks, including cost accounting and month-end close processes. Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes within a manufacturing environment.

• Perform cost accounting tasks, including tracking and analyzing production costs.

• Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy in general ledger entries.

• Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.

• Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to create detailed reports and financial models.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.

• Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends or variances that require attention.

• Support the preparation of financial statements and other compliance-related documents.

• Communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at various levels. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting within a manufacturing setting.

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and general ledger accounting.

• Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build complex spreadsheets and models.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with manufacturing industry standards and practices is highly preferred.
