Description We are looking for a skilled and dependable Cable Technician to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This long-term contract position involves extensive travel and requires expertise in cable installations and fiber optics. If you enjoy hands-on technical work and are open to traveling frequently, this role offers an exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain cabling systems, including fiber optics, to ensure optimal performance.

• Conduct thorough inspections of cable systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Travel extensively, primarily Monday through Friday, to various project sites across the region.

• Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for cable installations.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

• Perform testing and troubleshooting of cable systems to ensure functionality.

• Document installation and maintenance activities accurately for reporting purposes.

• Stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies related to cabling. Requirements • Proven experience in cable installation and maintenance, including fiber optics.

• Familiarity with MSI (Microsoft Installer) software.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively during the workweek.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• All candidates are required to complete pre-employment screening.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
