Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Milpitas, California. This is a Contract-to-long-term opportunity with a growing company in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing accounts receivable processes, supporting month-end closing activities, and contributing to overall accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies.

• Support month-end close activities by preparing accurate financial documentation and reconciling accounts.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to billing, cash handling, and account balances.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure cross-training in accounts payable, accruals, and general ledger entries.

• Assist with preparing financial reports and data for headquarters as required.

• Utilize and adapt to accounting software systems, including ERP and CRM tools.

• Provide support during the company’s planned transition to new systems, ensuring smooth implementation.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Work closely with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment while handling increased workloads. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and general accounting support.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Familiarity with billing functions, cash activity, and account reconciliation processes.

• Knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger entries.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and growing environment.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team setting.
