Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts. In this role, you will handle a wide range of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This is a long-term contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Prepare accurate financial statements and handle month-end closing activities.

• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy.

• Process payroll for 25 employees, including salaried and hourly staff, using an online payroll system.

• Generate weekly financial reports and provide insights to management.

• Maintain up-to-date records in QuickBooks Online and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform ad hoc bookkeeping tasks as needed to support the team.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address financial inquiries and issues.

• Ensure timely payment of invoices and proper documentation of transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.

• Experience with online payroll systems, such as ADP, is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including AP, AR, and financial statement preparation.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Proven ability to handle month-end reconciliations and closing activities.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role is preferred.

• Ability to work onsite in Quincy, Massachusetts, five days a week.
