Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position where you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex invoicing systems, particularly within the insurance sector.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately generate and distribute over 700 invoices monthly, ensuring all client accounts are billed correctly.

• Post payments to the appropriate accounts and verify that invoices marked as paid are fully reconciled.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as incorrect payment postings or erroneous cancellation notices.

• Manage both upfront and post-service invoicing for various insurance products, including critical illness, life insurance, and disability plans.

• Recommend improvements to billing workflows without disrupting client services or satisfaction.

• Support the automation of payment processes by addressing inefficiencies in the current system.

• Assist with light accounts payable tasks as needed to support the finance team.

• Communicate with clients to address billing inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues. Requirements • Proficiency with accounting software systems such as Epic Software, EHR systems, or ADP Financial Services.

• Experience in computerized billing and handling complex account reconciliations.

• Familiarity with insurance billing processes, including invoicing for various insurance products.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage high-volume invoicing.

• Ability to handle inbound client calls and provide accurate billing support.

• Previous experience in a billing or accounting role within the insurance industry is highly preferred.
