Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead and manage the accounts receivable team in Watsonville, California. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting software systems and a strong background in financial management.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee the preparation and reconciliation of financial records, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Manage billing processes and address any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting workflows and improve overall efficiency.
• Utilize accounting software systems to generate reports and provide actionable insights to management.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
• Ensure proper documentation and auditing of financial transactions to maintain data integrity.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Handle escalated issues with clients or internal stakeholders regarding accounts receivable matters.
• Evaluate and improve existing accounting procedures to align with best practices.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as Concur, ADP, and CRM tools.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including billing, auditing, and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with financial services and accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address discrepancies effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and support a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
