Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI and SQL to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will leverage your technical skills and analytical mindset to gather, interpret, and visualize data, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions. You will be a key contributor in designing reports, dashboards, and data models to streamline business processes and uncover valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that align with business goals

+ Power BI Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards in Power BI to present data effectively to stakeholders

+ SQL Query Development: Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from relational databases

+ Data Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and executive summaries using business intelligence tools, ensuring interpretability and accuracy of results

+ Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation processes and adherence to organizational data governance standards.

+ Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT personnel, and decision-makers, to align data analytics efforts with organizational objectives

+ Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline data processing workflows and automate recurring analytics tasks for efficiency

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.

+ Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role working with Power BI and SQL

+ Proficiency in advanced SQL querying, including joins, subqueries, and data aggregation techniques

+ Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data visualization, report development, and DAX formulas

+ Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.

+ Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify actionable insights from complex datasets.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data findings into meaningful narratives for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience working with ERP systems or integrating business intelligence tools with ERP platforms

+ Knowledge of financial reporting or experience in finance-related data analytics roles

+ Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or SQL Server Certification.

+ Familiarity with Excel (Advanced) for data analysis and manipulation
