    Description Job Description: Accounts Payable Specialist Overview: Robert Half seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to handle invoice processing, payment execution, vendor management, and reconciliation tasks. Join a collaborative finance team to support efficient financial operations. Responsibilities: Process invoices and ensure accurate approvals. Execute payments (checks, ACH, and wire transfers). Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies. Reconcile accounts, including vendor and credit card statements. Process employee expense reports. Requirements Qualifications for an Accounts Payable SpecialistEducation: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred but not always required). Experience: 2+ years in accounts payable or related role. Familiarity with high-volume invoice processing and vendor management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Knowledge of GAAP. Key Competencies: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to reconcile discrepancies and meet deadlines. Soft Skills: Effective communication for vendor and internal interactions. Problem-solving and proactive mindset. Additional Expertise: Understanding of compliance regulations and year-end closing tasks.
