Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for a Quality Specialist (Product Engineering) with a background in product engineering, material review, inspection, Quality Assurance, IPC-A-610/620/7721, etc. If this sounds like your background, then this Quality Specialist (Product Engineering) role is for you. Position: Quality Specialist (Product Engineering)

Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk; M-F; 6:30am-5pm PST; CTH/FTE

Day-to-Day:

+ Manage Materials Review Board (MRB) process and understand turnaround time, dollar volume, organization/clarity, etc.

+ Inspect / verify non-conforming parts

+ Accurate data collection

+ Communicate process performance and quality issues to key stakeholders to drive improvements

+ Execute vendor return material authorization (VRMA) communications with suppliers

+ Manage quality containment processes

+ Validate inspection and inventory locations for incoming material tracking

+ Propose quality assurance policies

+ Why Open: Quality Specialist going on LOA - need immediate help until EOY

Requirements

+ Material Review Boards - can manage existing MRB Inventory and support movement of parts between different sites (locally)

+ IPC-A-610 or 620 | IPC-7721 or 7711 (plus) | IPC Certification (nice-to-have)

+ Understand how to be Audited, the QMS, process, etc.

+ Familiar with Transactions, Changing Status of Parts, reviewing/exporting Product Data, Inspection Tools (how to identify the correct tool to be used for certain features)

+ Tech Resources/Tool Access: Teamcenter, NetSuite/Oracle, Jira, QI, Marcus/Mailman, Forge, SAP, etc.

+ Industry: Aerospace or Defense (preferred)

+ 5+ years of exp.
