Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Parsippany, New Jersey, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly organized, and capable of supporting various accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account coding and ensure financial data is recorded accurately.

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to manage financial information.

• Reconcile accounts and prepare accurate financial reports.

• Assist in processing accounts payable (AP) transactions and resolving discrepancies.

• Conduct account analysis to identify trends and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Support the preparation and entry of accounting entries into the general ledger.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and enhance efficiency.

• Use Adobe Acrobat and Dynamics NAV to manage and review financial documents.

• Monitor and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Provide assistance with other accounting tasks as needed to meet organizational goals. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Familiarity with account coding and general accounting practices.

• Experience with accounting software systems and ERP solutions, including Dynamics NAV.

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis.

• Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) processes and reconciliation techniques.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
